Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered one of the sport's greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s first female gymnast to be awarded four gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles along with the younger of her sisters Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region), grew up there. Simone was interested in gymnastics when she was just six in a day-care field excursion in Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years under the direction of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles received a silver medal for vault and also a medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began playing in elite levels of the sport. In just two short years, she became the top athlete in her field. What set Biles apart was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the high degree of difficulty she incorporated into her workout routines for all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
