Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical show. Following her upbringing by traditional Jews from Wayne, New York City was her destination to study acting at Tisch. She became very involved with the clubs in the city of New York, and did enough to get recognized in the press. In the meantime she began to become aware of AIDS' devastating effects. In the end, she utilized her education along with her fame and training to write and compose the musical Positive Me and also starred in the show. Her first gig was with MTV as the host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. After the show ended the show, she began appearing on the film and television industry, beginning with small parts, but gradually establishing herself as an actor.
