Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz used to be the lead vocalist of the metalcore band The Agonist, and the currently the lead singer of Swedish music group, melodic Death Metal Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 1986) is an Canadian artist, most well-known as the lead vocalist for the Swedish popular melodic death band Arch Enemy, and former the lead singer and founding member of the Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. The way she sings is both grunting and clean vocals (singing). Though she's mostly associated with the metalcore genre and melodic death metal She has also performed as the guest vocalist of power metal, symphonic music and deathcore acts, such as Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf, and has performed live alongside Nightwish and Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz was a member of the band Agonist previously known as "Tempest" and was based in Montreal (Quebec), Canada, from 2004 to 2014. She released three albums with the band as their main vocalist.White-Gluz has left the Agonist in the spring of 2014 following her acceptance of the vocalist position for Arch Enemy.
